Steve Hargrave

Steve joined Sky News in 2008 as Entertainment Correspondent and has since become a recognisable fixture on red carpets around the world, working on major stories including The Oscars, The Cannes Film Festival and the shock death of Michael Jackson.

He honed his interviewing skills at ITV News, in particular during his time at London Tonight where his offbeat style came into its own covering key entertainment stories in the capital. These included regular film premieres and major music and arts events.

Steve wrote and presented ITV2's daily Showbiz News bulletin providing a leftfield look at the day's celebrity stories. He also worked at the ITV News Channel and spent his formative years reporting and writing across the UK for Independent Radio News. He has also written articles on film and culture for magazines.

Steve is a music obsessive, who can be heard waxing lyrical about his current favourites on his weekly music and gig review on LBC Radio in London. His favourite moments so far include chatting backstage with Sir Paul McCartney in Germany, comparing heights with Tom Cruise in New York, and treating Bon Jovi to his own unique version of 'Living On A Prayer'...on a ukulele.
